Cindy Clark, a teacher with the day care, said the 13 children in attendance had a great experience.
"They were full of questions about how everything worked," Clark said, "and they repeated what they learned, like 'stop, drop and roll', long after the fireman had left. It was great that the firemen came and taught everyone what to do in case of fire. The kids learned from them, and I am learning from the children."
Clark said that the staff and children at Terrific Kids Day Care would like to thank Allen and Mac Wood for taking time out to visit the group.
"We all learned a lot," Clark said.
