Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday at East Laurinburg Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Lewis McLean. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
He is survived by a brother, Johnny Ray Stone of Wallace, S.C. and a sister, Becky Chavis and husband Harry of Wallace.
Born Aug. 31, 1952 in Scotland County, he was a son of the late John M. and Annie McCormick Stone. He was a former employee with years of service to Waverly Mills and Service Thread. Ronnie was an avid softball player and fan of the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
