Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2009 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following at Scotland Cemetery.
Timothy was born Oct. 18, 1972 in Scotland County, son of Jessie Wade Butler and Margaret Mauldin Butler. His life work was in farming, employed with Doug Hinson Farms. He was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his fiancée, Paula Leviner of Wallace, S.C.; his parents, Jessie and Margaret Butler of Bennettsville; grandmother Edith Mauldin of Laurel Hill; stepchildren Heather Teston and Mitchell Grooms, both of Bennettsville; sisters Tammy Butler Clark of Bennettsville and Shannon Hudson of Laurel Hill; step grandchildren Shelby, Malachi, Keyona, Javon, and Mitchell, Jr.; nieces and nephews Prisanna, Matthew and Justin; brother-in-laws Joe Herring and John Crews; special aunts and uncles Sarah and Thomas Thorp and Evelyn Clark of Laurel Hill, and Mary and Robin Cribb of Wagram; many cousins; and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 16 at Richard Boles Funeral Service and other times at the home of Tammy Clark.
