Kelvin Patrice Brunson
According to Laurinburg police, Kelvin Patrice Brunson, of 527 Gabriel Avenue, is charged with first-degree murder. Brunson is accused of shooting Sam Brunson, Jr. – his 45-year old brother – with a shotgun on Wednesday morning.
Rescue personnel determined at the scene that Sam Brunson had died from multiple gunshot wounds, police say.
Kelvin Brunson was placed in Scotland County jail with bond denied. His first appearance will be Friday.
