Scotland seniors Colby Liles and Jessica Milligan, along with juniors Brittany Gibson and Sarah Laviner, have been named to the All Mid-Southeastern 4-A Conference Softball Team.

Making the honorable mention list for the All M-SEC Team were third baseman Whitney Britt, outfielder Kristina Sessoms and second baseman Lindsey Wright.

Liles returned from a knee injury early in the season and played in 18 of the Lady Scots' 23 games, starting at shortstop while hitting .373 (19-for-51) with four doubles, four RBIs and 16 runs scored. Liles walked 10 times and only struck out four.

Milligan, a two-time M-SEC Player of the Year, went 20-3 in the regular season with a 0.70 ERA, 172 strikeouts and 67 hits allowed. Of the 31 runs scored against Milligan during the regular season, only 14 were earned. She walked just five batters and hit none in 140 innings pitched.

Laviner caught Milligan all season, and she also hit .382 (29-for-76) with six doubles and 17 RBIs. Laviner scored 15 times and struck out just twice, the fewest number of K's for any Lady Scots with more than 50 at-bats.

Gibson, Scotland's starting centerfielder, led her team in numerous categories, including hits (33), average (.423), runs (31), doubles (9), triples (4), stolen bases (12) and at-bats (78). Gibson also had seven walks and a dozen RBIs.

Britt played third base and hit .365 (27-for-74) with one homer, eight doubles, one triple, seven steals, 27 runs scored, nine walks and 13 RBIs for SHS. Britt led Scotland with 44 assists from the hot corner.

Wright had a .329 (23-for-70) average with five doubles, three triples, eight walks and 14 runs scored. Wright was second only to Britt with 43 assists, and she led the Lady Scots with 21 runs batted in.

Sessoms hit .203 with three doubles, three steals, three sacrifices and 11 RBIs. The Scots' starting rightfielder made 13 putouts.
