The local Scotland County Senior Games are over. Lots of medals were awarded, great fun and exercise was had by all, and many will be heading to the North Carolina State Games in September to represent this outstanding county.
I personally would like to thank the people who so willingly donated their money towards this event after being hounded by me. This was my first experience going around and asking people to give to this important event in our Senior Citizens' lives. Monies collected ranged from $10-$300 from each caring sponsor.
