HAMLET — The Spring Hill boys' soccer team captured the school's second consecutive Southeastern Middle School Conference championship with a 1-0 win at Hamlet on Tuesday.

The game-winning goal was scored by Spartan forward Afiz Lateef 12 minutes into the second half. Lateef's goal, a 22-yard line drive from just outside the box, grazed off the goalkeeper's hands before finding the back of the net.
