SHS Director of Bands Mark Doerffel said that if the recently completed winter guard season is any indication, the color guard is going to be in for a good year.
"I'm happy to have such talented young ladies be a part of our marching band.
"Our winter guard season was so successful; I'm really looking forward to seeing what they bring us this fall."
Color guard instructor Ashley Norton echoed Doerffel's thoughts, saying that she is "anxious to start the season."
"We'll really get to work at our first rehearsal on May 12," Norton said.
