The Spring Hill soccer team defeated Sycamore Lane 7-0 on Monday to improve to 7-1-2 overall and 5-0-2 in division play this season.

Dakota Chavis scored two goals for Spring Hill in the first six minutes of the game, and goals by Anthony Lewis and Afiz Lateef had the Spartans sitting on a 4-0 lead at the half. Sturdivant, John Mark Lavigne and Meelad Alinaghian had one goal apiece off assists from Lateef, Carter Dold and Joe Sojka in the second half.

The two teams meet again, this time at Spring Hill, on Wednesday at 4 p.m. Spring Hill will also play the West Division winner for the Southeastern Middle School Conference title sometime either late this week or early next week.
