The group was detained outside the mobile home on Old Wire Road after shooting at the structure with a shotgun, Jones said.
Ironically, sheriff's investigators were driving by the home as the shots were fired, according to Jones.
The report said the authorities called the dispatcher about the shooting and turned around to investigate.
When they arrived, they discovered that one shot had struck the front door of the mobile home.
Jaquan Lee Christian admitted to having fired the gun to officials, the report said.
Deputies impounded the white Dodge Intrepid the group had used to get to the crime scene.
Officials were unsure of a motive, according to Jones.
No one was injured in the incident.
