Andrew Miller Warlick, 58, died April 8, 2009. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 25 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Cedar Rock Country Club in Lenoir.
He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Randall (Adam) of Raleigh; his son Drew Warlick of Laurinburg; a sister, Susan Runnion (Eddie) of Nashville, Tenn.; and five granddaughters.
Walter G. Smith
Mr. Walter G. Smith, 88, of 243 Gulf St., Laurinburg, died Friday, April 17, 2009 at Century Care of Laurinburg. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 3 p.m. at St. Margaret Bible P.H. Church in Laurinburg. Elder Mitchell Johnson will officiate. Burial will be at Philadelphia UMC Cemetery in Rockingham. Visitation will be at McPhatter Funeral Home in Laurel Hill on Friday, April 24, 2009 from 6 to 7 p.m.
Survivors are three sons, Glenwood Smith of New Jersey, Earl Brown of Laurinburg, and Gene Currie of New Jersey; three daughters, Mae Frances Smith Felder of Hamlet, Myrtle SMith of Laurinburg, and Gracie Murphy of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and one sister, Dorothy Short of Bronx, N.Y.
McPhatter Funeral Home is serving the family.
