Scotland County Farm Bureau donates funds to 4-H Health and Fitness Boot Camp

Donation will be used to fund the 2009 4-H Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) Health and Fitness Boot Camp. SCFB women's committee will give some assistance to the activities staff.

The 4-H Health and Fitness Boot Camp will be held Monday through Thursday, June 15-August 20 at the Laurel Hill Community Center. Approximately 200 Scotland County Youth will have the opportunity to participate in activities such as Tae-Bo, fitness games, dancing, and much more. The goal of the Health and Fitness Boot Camp is to educate youth on the importance of healthy eating and exercise through physical activity.
