Pilot Club to host flower sale

The Pilot Club of Laurinburg will hosts its annual Spring Flower Sale on Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the American Legion Building on Atkinson

Street. Flowers and plants for sale include ferns, Gerbera daisies, geraniums, Hibiscus, Lantana and others.

This is one of the club's largest fundraisers with proceeds helping support club's projects such work with as Alzheimers, BrainMinders, Adopt a School, Autism Enhancement Program, Exceptional Children, Scholarships and support of the Anchor Club at Scotland High School. Pilot Leslie McLaughlin is chairing this year's flower sale committee, along with committee members Lib Sandlin, Pam Ashley, Jane Quick, Betty Edens, Phyllis Cox, Dot O'Briant, and Lucille Quick.

Preorders only may be picked up from 3 until 7 pm on Friday. Preorders will continue to be taken through today. Preorders can be taken by calling Rebecca Brooks at 276-8645, Jane Quick at 276-4775, Dot O'Briant at 276-0588, or Lucille Quick at 276-3591.
