She is survived by her daughter Gena Currie Kelly of Sanford, eight sons: James Stephen Horton (Cindy) of Charlotte, Billy Bruton (Dana) of Carthage, Gary McIntyre (Myra) of Dallas, Texas, and Charles Currie Sharpless, Wilburt Bruton (Deborah), Alfredrick Maurice Horton, and James “Bunny” Walters (Pam) of Sanford, 29 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two loving caring Nephews: Louis McCormick (Earlene) of Laurinburg and Henry Monroe of Washington, D.C., and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1 p.m., on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Macedonia AME Zion Church in Gulf.
