The memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel officiated by the Rev. Gerald “Sammy” Ruiz.
Carrie was born on April 13, 1940, a daughter of the late William Henry Collins and Mamie Cook Collins. She was the loving wife to the late Harley Billie Holt, Jr. She was a devoted homemaker and loved spending time gardening. She also served as a member of Grace Chapel Holiness Church.
Carrie is survived by her children, son Daniel Holt of Gibson and daughter Lisa Johnson and her fiancé Lynn Pate of Gibson, brothers Harvey Lee Collins and David Collins both of Florence, S.C., sisters June Holt, Margaret Montgomery, and Patricia Jordan all of Conway, S.C., six grandchildren: Adam, JD, Marie, Elwood, Crystal, and Brittany, six great-grandchildren: Cody, Nathaniel, Faith, Lee, Isaac, Lee, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior to the service on Monday at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
