LAURINBURG - Joy Locklear, 35, of 1265 Old Red Springs Road was arrested Tuesday under an order for arrest for one count of failure to appear in court, according to a sheriff’s report. Locklear was placed under a $1,000 secured bond.

LAUREL HILL - Robert Smith, 42, of 9442 Andrew Jackson Highway was arrested Wednesday under a warrant for one count of violation of court orders, according to a sheriff’s report. Smith was placed under a $100,000 secured bond.

LAUREL HILL - Jacqueline White, 27, of 13100 Old Wire Road was arrested Wednesday under an order for arrest for one count of failure to appear in court, according to a sheriff’s report. White was placed under a $200 secured bond.

LAURINBURG - Murphy-Brown, LLC reported a larceny on Nashville Church Road on Wednesday, according to a sheriff’s report. Stolen were two Honda five horsepower motors valued at $1,000.

LAUREL HILL - John Strickland of Snead’s Grove Road reported a larceny from his home on Wednesday, according to a sheriff’s report. An E-Z-Go golf cart valued at $3,000 and a John Deere lawn mower valued at $2,700 were stolen

LAUREL HILL - Robert Stamper, 37, of 16520 Wood Duck Run was arrested Wednesday under an order for arrest for one count of failure to appear in court, according to a sheriff’s report. Stamper was placed under a $100 secured bond.

LAURINBURG - Larry Grooms, 35, of 17500 Cornwall Drive was arrested Wednesday under a warrant for two counts of domestic trespassing, according to a sheriff’s report. Grooms was placed under no bond.

LAURINBURG - Paul Gibson of Marston Road reported a breaking and entering and larceny at his home on Wednesday, according to a sheriff’s report. Stolen were a 17-inch HP laptop valued at $500 and a 32-inch Panasonic flat screen television valued at $400.

LAURINBURG - Dimitri Hayes, 20, of Charlotte was arrested Thursday for one count of simple possession of marijuana, according to a sheriff’s report. Hayes was placed under a $1,000 secured bond.

LAURINBURG - Jenese Hendricks, 21, of Charlotte was arrested Thursday for one count of driving without an operator’s license, according to a sheriff’s report. Hendricks was placed under an $800 secured bond.

LAURINBURG - Tyrone Pate, 45, of McColl, S.C. was arrested Thursday under a warrant for one count of assault on a handicapped person, according to a sheriff’s report. Pate was placed under a $1,500 secured bond.
