Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at 1 p.m. at St. Matthews A.M.E. Zion Church in Maxton. The dove ceremony and burial will follow at McLeod cemetery in Maxton.
Survivors include her father Mr. Douglas Streeter of Maxton and Mrs. Mary Streeter of Maxton and three sons: Ervin Batten of Jacksonville, Fla., Edward Caple of Maxton, and Theodore Batten of New York.
