
Fourteen Scotland High Schools band students have been selected to the UNC-P Honors Band.

The honor band festival features bands for middle and high school students and is an opportunity for students to work with some of the world's best conductors and clinicians. Students are nominated for membership by their director. During the day there are also special sessions for directors, ranging from clinics to reading sessions.
"This is going to be fantastic,” said Director of Bands Mark Doerffel. “With so many students from Scotland High School, it'll be great to see all them on stage in uniform amongst other students from the region.”
