A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Laurinburg, officiated by Brother Charles Mollison.
She is survived by her son Rodgerrick "Ramu" Earl Murphy of Winston-Salem, daughters Renee Murphy Lewis and Pamela Devon Murphy McIntyre of Laurinburg, brothers Leroy Brown, Alfonza Brown, Lee Edward Brown, and Willie Earl Brown of Laurinburg, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
