LAURINBURG - James Barber of Bonnie Lane reported a larceny on Sallie McNair Road on Tuesday, according to a sheriff’s report. An air conditioning unit valued at $5,000 was stolen.

MAXTON - Brian Leggett, 54, of 232 Slathy Drive was arrested Tuesday under a warrant for two counts of failure to work after payment, according to a sheriff’s report. Leggett was released under a written promise to appear in court.

HAMLET - Carey Robinson, 42, of 316 East Main St. was issued a criminal summons on Tuesday for two counts of trespassing, according to a sheriff’s report.

LAURINBURG - Gerphine Graham, 62, of Riegelwood was arrested Wednesday under a warrant for one count of failure to return rental property, according to a sheriff’s report. Graham was released under a written promise to appear in court.
