It is time to begin voting on the Scotland County Partnership for Children and Families’ 3rd Annual Scotland County’s Most Charming Child campaign.
Nine of Scotland County’s Most Charming Children have been registered to compete. Votes are being accepted through Nov. 16.
“We would like to thank all the participants for registering in the event” said Anita Riojas-Mayers Executive Director for Scotland County Partnership for Children and Families, “and hope that the public will support these participants by submitting there votes.”
Contest entrants pictures have been printed in todays’ Laurinburg Exchange and will be posted on the Laurinburg Exchange Website. The public may submit an unlimited number of votes for their favorite child at a cost of .50 cents per vote. Tickets are located at Laurinburg Exchange website and will be available at the Partnership Office.
Votes can be mailed or dropped off at the Partnership Office as indicated on the ticket.
The children who receive the most votes will be displayed in a full color 2013 calendar.
The entrant who receives the most votes will be featured on the cover of the calendar. Finalists will receive a trophy and invited to ride on the Partnership float during the Christmas parade. The calendars will be available for the community to purchase at the end of November.
Scotland County Partnership for Children and Families is a nonprofit agency that prepares children for success by providing resources to families and the community.
“Birth to five is the critical learning period during a child’s life. We hope that everyone will take a moment to share in the development of a child’s early years” Riojas-Mayers said.
