Trevor Shampy started and pitched three innings to get the win. Shampy struck out seven and gave up two hits. Alex Fricke struck out four, walked one and yielded one hit over the final two innings.
Jacob Davison went 4-for-5 and scored a quarter of Scotland's runs by crossing home plate five times. Kyle Clark was 3-for-3 and scored four times.
"It was one of those games that got out of hand real quick," said SHS head coach Michael Sellers. "We scored 12 runs in the first inning.
"From that point on, we worked on things, hit and runs, sac bunts, all the things we normally do. We went through our normal reads.
"We threw strikes and had quick innings. I thought that we took something out of the game."
Scotland hosts Pinecrest on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
