A 50-year old Laurinburg man was robbed at gunpoint, according to a police report.
The report said Leroy Alford Duncan, of Cliffdale Drive, reported mugged in the parking lot of Greenfield Apartments.
Duncan told officers he had just dropped off a student he was mentoring when a someone approached him with a gun, the report said. Duncan struggled with the man for the gun, but ended up on the ground.
The report said the mugger took off with the man's wallet, which included an estimated $700 in cash along with the man's social security card, driver's license, military ID card and several credit cards, along with the man's cell phone, which is valued at $100.
Duncan described the robber as a black male between the ages of 16 and 17. He is approximately 5'9" in height and weighs around 170 pounds.

LPD arrests alleged dealer
Police have a Fayetteville man in custody who was reported selling drugs, according to a police report.
The report said 26-year old Dablenski Onek McNair, of Raeford Road, was arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine and simple possession of marijuana.
Police were responding to a call that a man was selling drugs on Douglas Street, according to the report. When authorities arrived, McNair, who fit the description given to officers, fled on foot.
After apprehending McNair, police recovered 1.3 grams of crack cocaine and 1.6 grams of marijuana from around McNair's path, the report said.
McNair is in the Scotland County jail under a $10,000 secured bond, according to a report.
Maxton man found with shiv
An inmate at the Robeson County jail faces additional charges after he was found with a homemade knife on Sunday, according to a Robeson county sheriff’s report.
Mark Joseph Britt, 24, of Maxton, was charged with possession of a dangerous weapon after jailers found a razor blade inside of his jumpsuit pocket.
Th report said Britt was placed under an additional $5,000 bond.
Woman arrested on prescription drug charges
A 38-year old Laurinburg woman was arrested in Aberdeen for allegedly altering a prescription to get drugs, according to a Moore County sheriff's report.
Amy Lynn Locklear, of Ninth Street, is charged with four counts of attempting to obtain a controlled substance by fraud, according to the report
The report said Locklear tried to get hydrocodone, methadone, oxycodone and clonazepam.
She is in Moore County jail under a $10,000 bond.
Marston woman accused of embezzlement
Deputies served warrants to a 41-year old Marston woman who is accused of embezzling money, according to a sheriff's report.
The report said Catherine Adell Britt, of Hoffman Road, is charged with embezzlement and fraud.
Britt was made to sign a written promise to appear for court, according to the report.
The report did not list the complainant.
Woman charged with pointing a gun, trespassing
A Laurel Hill woman was served warrants after allegedly pointing a gun at Felicia McBride, according to a sheriff's report.
Camesha Monique Bethea, 21, of Hunt Road, is charged with second-degree trespassing, assault by pointing a gun and injury to real property, the report said.
Bethea signed a written promise to appear in court and was not taken into custody, according to the report.
