A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday at Oak Grove Cemetery near Hasty.
He is survived by his wife Chrissy Blackman, his son Kevin Hunt of Laurinburg, his daughters Katie Baldwin of West End, Shana Blackman of Fairmont, and Megan Hardin and Biranna Blackman of Laurinburg, his mother Brenda Grooms of West End, his brothers Dondivan Haffner of Asheville, Jeffery Hyatt of Wadesboro, and David Grooms of Detroit, Mich., his sisters Tina Wilkes and Shannon LeGrand of Laurel Hill, his grandmother Allie Airhart of Raeford, four uncles, and four aunts.
Visitation will be from 2-3:30 p.m. on Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
