Brandon Eldridge, the second ranked wrestler in West Virginia at 160 lbs. signed with St. Andrews University on Oct. 22.
“I attended the SAU Wrestling Fitness Camp last summer and really liked the campus and coaching staff,” Eldridge said. “SAU is a good fit for me and I can’t wait to get started.”
Eldridge is projected to wrestle at 157 pounds for the Knights.
“Brandon has the three most important attributes to be a good college wrestler,” said St. Andrews head wrestling coach Joe Baranik. “He has the attitude, the academics and great athletic ability.”
Eldridge is also the starting goalie on his Bluefield High School soccer team that is currently making a run at a state championship.
