Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Maxton. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at graveside.
Eunice was born in Scotland County on June 3, 1921. She was the devoted wife to the late Johnny C. Mumford. She worked in retail with Belk, Inc., retiring after many years of service. Mrs. Mumford enjoyed traveling, especially going on ocean cruises. She was a loving mother that will truly be missed.
She was also preceded in death by her sons Randy “J.C.” Mumford, Jr. and Robert Mumford and brothers Edison Beasley and William M. Beasley.
Mrs. Mumford is survived by her daughter Cheryl Long and husband Eddie of Charlotte, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Program.
