The men forced their way into the home of 29-year old Robert Jamison Pipkin and robbed him at gunpoint, according to a police report.
The report said Pipkin told police that he was playing his PlayStation when he heard a knock at his door.
He looked out the window and saw a man who he believed was a neighbor, smiling and waving.
When Pipkin opened the door, two men - one carrying a gin - burst through the door, the report said.
He told police that one said "Get on the ground. I know you have the money. I'm going to shoot you."
Pipkin told police that one of the men searched his pockets, taking his wallet which included his I.D. and Social Security card, and $320 in cash.
One of the men then searched Pipkin's residence while the other one held Pipkin at gunpoint.
The man searching the apartment at one point shouted to the other "Go ahead, shoot him," the report said.
The men then left Pipkin's home in an unknown direction.
Police searched the area but could not find the suspects, according to the report.
Pipkin told officers that he did not get a good look at the armed robbers because he was laying face down.
Police would not comment on whether or not the robbery may be related to a similar robbery that happened on Beta Street two weeks ago.
That robbery involved two men holding a mother and infant at gunpoint while taking $45 from a residence.
Police are still looking for the men involved in the Beta Street robbery.
Police have taken out warrants on 26-year old Michael Joseph Gibson, of Wagram, charging him with armed robbery, kidnapping and conspiracy to commit robbery in that case.
Those warrants have not been served.
Police have not identified a second suspect with the Beta Street robbery.
