To the editor:

President Obama endorsed gay marriage and became the first president of the U.S. supporting the marriage of a man to a man and a woman to a woman.

This is in direct conflict with the Holy Bible, which is God’s word. As many of us already know the Bible states marriage as being between a man and a woman, and also talks about the unnatural affection of men with men and women with women. The same night of the day President Obama announced his endorsement of gay marriage, I watched some of the news on TV. A certain left-wing liberal news station had a panel of about five news reporters talking about what Obama had said. I was shocked as they acted as though they were overjoyed with excitement, and that was the most wonderful thing Obama had ever said. Believe it or not, one of the news reporters is even a Reverend. It wasn’t a surprise for one of the other reporters since she is a devout Lesbian.

I am a registered Democrat, but I have always voted for the person and not the party. I don’t see how anyone who is a true Christian can support a president who would dare to challenge and dispute the word of God. It’s time for Christians to stand up and do what is right.
