Mrs. Louise Quick Ayers, 79, of Bennettsville, S.C. passed away on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012 at First Health Hospice and Palliative Care in Pinehurst.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012 at Burroughs-Cooper-Kiser Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Larry Zaky.m Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Bennettsville. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 at the funeral home.

Born on Dec. 2, 1932, she was the daughter of the late James Walker and Ollie Hubbard Quick. Mrs. Ayers was the retired owner/operator of Forbes Clothing Shop and was a partner in the family farm. She was a member of Thomas Memorial Baptist Church in Bennettsville and a member of the Senior Circle. She also enjoyed having her family at her home.

Along with her parents, Mrs. Ayers was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Hillary Ayers.

She is survived by her son Duncan Ayers and wife Linda of Bennettsville, daughter Denise Ayers Lanier and husband Larry of Laurinburg, grandchildren Matt Ayers and wife Christan, Stacy Ayers Benson and husband Larry, Clay Lanier, Hillary Lanier, and Kristin Lanier, and great-grandson Zachary Benson.

Memorials may be made to the First Health Hospice and Palliative Care, 251 Campground Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374.
