LAUREL HILL - James Dutch, 36, of 10541 Dorset Drive was issued a criminal summons on Saturday for one count of simple assault and one count of communicating threats, according to a sheriff’s report.

LAUREL HILL - Gregory Fernandez, 32, of 17200 Lauch Blue Road was arrested Sunday under a warrant for one count of violating a domestic violence protection order and one count of aggravated assault of an officer, according to a sheriff’s report. Fernandez was placed under a $500 secured bond.

LAUREL HILL - Kelsey Herring of Andrew Jackson Highway reported an incidence of a canine attack on a child on Tuesday, according to a sheriff’s report.

LAURINBURG - Johnathon McLaurin, 30, of 807 B S. Pine St. was arrested Tuesday for one count of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, one count of maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of selling or delivering a controlled substance, one count of driving while uninsured, one count of playing loud music, and one count of driving with a revoked license plate, according to a police report. McLaurin was placed under a $5,000 bond.

LAURINBURG - Melissa Powell of Parliament Avenue reported a breaking and entering at her home on Wednesday, according to a sheriff’s report.
