“Taste of the Town”, the annual fundraiser sponsored by the Scotland County Literacy Council, will offer its 13th yearly food fest from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Laurinburg Presbyterian Church. In addition to good food and drink, participants will have the opportunity to listen to the lively music of the Morgan Jazz Band.
Tickets for the 13th annual Taste of the Town fundraiser are $8 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under. You can purchase them at the office of the Literacy Council at 213 McLaurin Avenue in Laurinburg or at the door on the night of the event. The Laurinburg Presbyterian Church is located at 600 West Church Street on Highway 74 Business. For more information call 276-7007.
