Members of Scotland Republican Women attended the winter meeting of the North Carolina Federation of Republican Women, or NCFRW, in Raleigh Feb. 7. Former Republican Congressman Tom Delay was the speaker at the luncheon which followed the meeting. Scotland Republican Women will have its next meeting on Monday at 7 p.m. at Scotland County's Republican Headquarters. At this meeting the group will be packing boxes for U.S. soldiers stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan. The club will also finalize plans for a chili fundraiser, which will be held Feb. 27.
