Two arrested after stabbing
Two men were charged after an altercation in Gibson led to a stabbing, according to a sheriff's report.
Deputies arrested 27-year old Robert Dale McRae, of Morgan Circle in Laurinburg, for stabbing John William Ingram, Jr., 46, of Mebane, N.C., according to a Sheriff's report. He is being charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
Ingram, also known as Junior, was taken to Scotland Memorial Hospital by a county EMS unit after McRae allegedly cut him "about [his] head and neck," according to the report.
The report said McRae is in Scotland County jail under a $100,000 secured bond.
Ingram is being charged with simple assault for allegedly attacking McRae, a report said. He signed a written promise to appear in court and is not in custody.
Woman arrested for Jan. 13 stabbing
A Maxton woman was arrested Monday in connection with a stabbing, according to a Robeson county Sheriff's report.
Shannon Lynn Bullard, 31, of 1802 McMillan Road, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill, inflicting serious injury, according to the report.
The report said Bullard was taken to the Robeson County jail and placed under a $25,000 bond.
Bullard is accused of stabbing Robert Locklear, 62, of Carter Road, Maxton, on Jan. 13, according to the report. Deputies found Locklear slumped in a seat of his car, unable to verbally respond. Deputies then noticed a substantial amount of blood coming from Locklear’s chest.
Locklear was taken to Scotland Memorial Hospital for treatment, the report said.
Burglar allegedly stole car, guns, jewelry
An allegedly burglary on Old Wire Road in Laurel Hill was reported to the Sheriff's office that listed over $14,000 in items stolen, including a white 4-door Cadillac Cate valued at $6,500 that was later recovered, along with guns, jewelry and electronics.
The highest priced items on the report were two flat screen televisions, one worth $1,500 and one worth $1,000, a princess cut earring set worth $1,200 and a .12 gauge Remington Winmaster,, worth $800.
Also reported stolen was a Nintendo Wii, along with two controllers and various games, a safe, titanium black sunglasses, two .38 caliber handguns, a shotgun, a DVD player, a 14 karat diamond necklace and a pink iPod.
The alleged burglar is believed to have entered the home by prying open the rear door to the residence.

Accident leaves $23K in damage to power line
A truck or vehicle struck two power poles in Laurel Hill, leaving a mess for Pee Dee Electricity to clean up, according to a Sheriff's report.
The electric company reported that the incident caused $8,000 in damage to the cable and $15,000 in damage to two power poles with transformers, according to the report.
The report did not say if anyone is being charged in the incident.
SCSO arrest 3 on child support charges
Warrants were served on three alleged "deadbeat" dads this week.
According to a Sheriff's report, 53-year old Ronald Blue, of Queensdale Street in Laurinburg was arrested for two counts of failing to appear in court for not paying child support and one count of unauthorized use of a vehicle.
The report said Blue was in Scotland County jail under a $10,493 secured bond. It was unclear how much of that was from unpaid child support.
Byron Malloy, 40, of Caledonia Road in Laurinburg was also arrested for failing to appear in court for failure to pay child support. He owes $14,289.
A warrant was also served on 31-year old Billy W. Jacobs of Brown Street in Rockingham for failure to appear in court for not paying child support. He owes $8,010 in back child support.
Two attacked by flashlight
Two Maxton residents reported to the Robeson County Sheriff's Office that they had been attacked by a flashlight, receiving serious injuries.
According to a sheriff’s report, Marcella Locklear, 43, and Larry Dean Oxendine, 46, both of Prospect Road, told deputies that a man inside the home began arguing with Locklear over missing money.
The man grabbed a flashlight and began beating Locklear. Oxendine attempted to break-up the fight. The man then began beating Oxendine over the head with the flashlight, the report said.
Locklear and Oxendine both suffered severe cuts and were taken to Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
Truck driver robbed at gas station
A Montana truck driver was robbed at gunpoint Monday in Maxton, according to a Robeson County Sheriff's report.
The report said that Steven Allen Mackenzie stopped at the C-N-P mini-mart at about 10:30 p.m. and was approached by a gunman in the parking lot who demanded Mackenzie’s wallet.
The gunman fled on foot with Mackenzie's wallet, which contained an estimated $60.
