Lloyd Costner Brigman, 83, of Laurinburg died Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Morrison Manor.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. Ralph Brown and Roy McCook. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Quick Brigman; two sons, Lloyd C. “Boo” Brigman, Jr. and wife, Gwen of Martinsville, Va. and C. Michael Br igman and wife, Susan of Dalton, Ga.; a brother, David Brigman of Apopka, Fla.; four grandchildren, Lloyd C. (B.J.) Brigman of Martinsville, Chase Brigman of Greensboro, Matthew Brigman of Williamsburg, and Maria Brigman of Athens, Ga. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Estelle Lockey and Mabel Watts and a brother, Fred Brigman.
Born Jan. 27, 1926 in Robeson County, he was a son of the late Duncan A. and Ettie Shaw Brigman. He served with the U.S. Navy in World War II, was a retired employee of Fieldcrest Mills, and was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 2:50 p.m. Friday at the fellowship hall of the First United Methodist Church.

Henry Armstrong McAllister, 80, died Friday at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 13 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Morris Funeral Home. The Rev. Stella Edens will officiate. Burial will follow in the Stewartsville Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, Harriet McAllister of Maryland; one daughter, Harriet L. Palmer of Maryland; 59 nieces; and 65 nephews.
