"This all important project continues under the capable leadership of Andy Womble," Kiwanis President Wilson McCall said of the Feb. 20-21 event. "All members of the club will participate in preparations for the feast."
Advance tickets are available from Kiwanis Club members for sale to individuals, families and businesses, and will also be sold at the door.
"We are looking forward to a good turnout with another successful pancake supper, and we invite everyone to come out and enjoy some delicious pancakes with good fellowship," Womble said.
"The community is always good about supporting our projects, and we hope this will continue."
The Friday night feast will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with Saturday breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. All plates will be $5, with pancakes, sausage, orange juice and colas on the menu. Regular and diet syrups will be served. Dine in or carry out is available. A 50/50 drawing will be held with $1 tickets sold at the door.
Proceeds from the event go toward the support of the Kiwanis Club's ongoing service projects which include Terrific Kids, Reach Out and Read, the Scotland House for Youth, the Scotland High School Key Club, the Boys and Girls Home of North Carolina at Lake Waccamaw, scholarship and bookship awards, and Children Around the World.
