Scottish Pilot Club makes contribution to United Way

The Scottish Pilot Club of Laurinburg recently made a contribution to the United Way of Scotland County after club members were informed that the organization was 30 percent below its goal. A total of 18 non-profit agencies were affected by this shortage.

The presentation was made by Club Treasurer Pat Fields and Club President Debbie Quick to Lynda Bunch, director of United Way of Scotland County.

The Scottish Pilot Club is a civic organization composed of 40 ladies who give of their time and efforts to help with the special needs of local children and other worthy community needs.
