Man allegedly robbed at gunpoint

A Laurinburg man reported to the Sheriff's office that he was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday.

Lamont Munley, 39, reported being robbed at his residence on Church Street, a report said.

The gunman allegedly fled with $20 in cash.

Laurinburg man accused of larceny

A 39-year old Laurinburg man was accused of larceny, according to a Sheriff's report.

The report said that Martin Holt "Herb" Harrison, of Stewartsville Cemetary Road, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor larceny.

Rodney Clark, of Stewartsville Road in Laurinburg, is listed on the report as having accused Harrison of larceny.

Clark was released from jail on a written promise to appear at his court date, according to the report.

Woman arrested for assault, threats

A 45-year old Laurel Hill woman was arrested for assault and threats, a Sheriff's report said.

According to the report, Djuna Jean Tyson, of Bunch Road, is charged with communicating threats and aggravated assault.

Tyson was placed in Scotland County jail under a $300 unsecured bond, the report said.

James Tyson was listed as the complainant on the report.

Burglar snatches computer, game systems

A burglar got away with a laptop and video game systems, according to a Sheriff's report.

According to the report, an alleged break-in on Blakely Road in Laurinburg netted a burglar a 17" laptop, valued at $500, an Xbox 360, a Playstation 3 valued at $300, two Playstation Portables valued at $150 each and 15 games valued together at $300.

The value of the Xbox 360 was not listed on the report, but the game system retails for $200 and up.

Man arrested as alleged "deadbeat" dad

A Gibson man was arrested after not paying his child support, according to a Sheriff's report.

Lamont R. York, 32, was arrested for failing to appear in court for missing child support payments, the report said.

The report listed $12,233 as the amount York owes.
