Cremen to assist St. Andrews Lacrosse

The St. Andrews Athletic Department announces the hire of Rick Cremen as an Assistant Coach for the SAU Men’s Lacrosse team.

Rick Cremen, a Maryland native, joins the Knights after working for the Mad Lax All-Stars in 2010, based out of McLean, VA; serving as an Assistant and Head Coach for several All-Star programs.

Cremen graduated in 2008 from Stevenson University, earning a BS in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing. During his two years at Stevenson, he lettered as a varsity member of the men’s lacrosse team and played long stick midfield for the Mustangs. After graduating, Coach Cremen served the game of lacrosse by helping expand the game in England, just south of London, as a Long Distance Officer for the English Lacrosse Program. He introduced the game to youth athletes and played for the Hitchin Sr. Men’s Club Team in Hitchin, England. Upon returning from his months abroad, Cremen coached several youth leagues in the Baltimore area.

Most recently, Coach Cremen has been working with Sports and Speed team on conditioning for young, developing athletes. He is currently seeking his Strength and Conditioning certification along with several other speed training certifications.

As a collegiate defensemen and long stick middie, he played at CCBC Catonsville as a member of the semi-finalist of the 2002 NJCAA national championship squad. In his last two years he played for Stevenson University. Cremen currently resides in Laurinburg, NC.
