Mr. Edward L. White, 58, of 401 Gulf St., Laurinburg, died Jan. 4, 2009 at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg. Funeral services will be Jan. 9, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Solid Rock Baptist Church chapel. Burial will be at Hillside Memorial. Visitation will be at the Jackson Chapel in Laurinburg on Jan. 8, 2009 at 4 p.m.
Survivors are Willa White, his wife; daughters Dawn Youngblood and Tonya White of Laurinburg and Edwena White of Clayton; brothers Scott White Jr. and Lewis White of Laurinburg; sisters Daisy Anderson, Aggie Coleman, Hattie McCrimmon and Mary Harrington of Laurinburg, and Ann Gamble of New York; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
