Locklear
Staged over the Thanksgiving holiday, Locklear competed for the national title in the areas of evening gown, personal introduction, interview and community involvement.
To qualify for the national event, Locklear captured the North Carolina Junior Teen title in August, where she also received second runner up in talent and fourth runner up in casual wear modeling. She also garnered the Best Resume Award.
Alexis is the 16-year-old-daughter of Marla Locklear, who is employed by The University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
