A second person was arrested for robbing a Gibson woman, according to a sheriff's report.
Frannie Serena Locklear, 18, was arrested Monday and charged with one count of first-degree burglary, two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon and two counts of second-degree kidnapping.
Locklear, who lives on Rose Road in Maxton, was placed in Scotland County jail under a $1,500 secured bond.
Jacob Ray Bryant, 19, also of Rose Road in Maxton, was arrested last week in connection with the same crime.
Unknown person fired into occupied vehicle, officials say
Someone fired a weapon into an occupied vehicle on Third Avenue in Laurel Hill, according to a Sheriff's report.
Tiffany Collette Jacobs, 27, alleged that someone fired into her 1998 tan Ford Expedition at her residence while she was in the vehicle.
The report indicated that her vehicle sustained $300 worth of damage to the rear door.
Laurinburg resident charged with communicating threats
Jesse Alexander Flowers, 27, was charged on Monday with communicating threats to Rita Settles, according to a sheriff's report.
Flowers, of Kingsdale Drive in Laurinburg, was released on a written promise.
Settles is listed on the report as Flowers' closest relative.
Woman accused of using bad checks
A Laurel Hill woman was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly writing bad checks, according to an arrest report.
Carrie Barnette, 31, is charged with fraud for worthless checks, according to the report.
Barnette, who lives on Crawford Lake Road, is accused of writing bad checks at the Food King in Laurel Hill on Nov. 24.
She was taken to Scotland County jail and released on a written promise.
