LAURINBURG — Dr. Anna Hade Duncan has joined Wagram Family Practice Center to provide full-time medical care.

Duncan’s medical degree in Osteopathic Medicine is very similar to that of an MD. She completed four years of college at Southern Methodist University to earn a bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Pre-Med, followed by four years at the University of North Texas Health Science Center-Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her post graduate training at Dallas-Ft. Worth Medical Center in Grand Prairie, Texas. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Duncan practices a “whole person” approach to medicine focusing on preventive health care. During medical school she received extra training in the musculoskeletal system — the body’s interconnected system of nerves, muscles and bones that makes up two-thirds of your body mass.

Duncan lives in Laurinburg. She has two sons, Harry and Andrew, and a daughter, Alexis. When not working she enjoys reading, all types of needlework, and spending time with her two dachshunds.

Wagram Family Practice Center is located at 24420 Marlboro St. Wagram. The phone number is 910-369-3136.
