LAURINBURG — Cypress Creek Golf Links will host their spring veteran’s tournament on Friday, March 31.
The tournament is a four-player captain’s choice style tournament that will feature a catered lunch — the first 76 veterans who sign up will receive the lunch for free.
The lunch and the tournament is a way the staff at Cypress Creek say thank you to the veterans who sacrificed and served their country.
This year’s tournament will feature guest speaker Dennis Helms, a U.S. Army veteran. Helms served in the 3rd Battalion 187 Infantry of the 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam War.
