LAURINBURG — The St. Andrews Swim Club will be hosting swim camps for children ages five to 13-years old three-days a week for two weeks.

The focus will be on developing the four strokes — freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly — as well as learning how to be on a swim team. The first 20 swimmers who sign up will receive a St. Andrews Swim Club bag.

Swimming 101 will be for children ages five to 13-years old that are new to swimming. The camp begins Tuesday and will run through Aug. 31 from 6 to 6:45 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and will be $56.

The returning swimmer camp for children ages nine to 13-years-old will also take place Tuesday through Aug. 31 from 5:45 to 7 p.m. and is also $56.

The St. Andrews Swim Club will also host a high school camp for swimmers today through Aug. 31 from 5:45 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The cost of the camp is $56.

“St. Andrews swim coaches are the best in the area, said Taylor Cooper. “This past year we have had our swimmers achieve best times and learn a positive sense of self worth. The swim team strives to provide the most positive experiences and help our swimmers be more prepared for what ever they take on.”
