These students from Sycamore Lane Middle School visited The Laurinburg Exchange as part of a job shadowing day, taking part in a mock interview with Sheriff Shep Jones. The activity is sponsored by the Laurinburg/Scotland County Area Chamber of Commerce and allows county eighth graders to visit job sites to look at careers and encourage students to get a college education. Students from Sycamore Lane participated in the event on Tuesday and eighth graders from Spring Hill and Carver will have similar events later in the month.
