Maxton man charged in rape
A 34-year-old Maxton man has been arrested and charged with raping a 15-year-old girl, according to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office. Tommy Ray Bryant, of 131 Rose Road, was charged on Wednesday with three counts of statutory rape or sex offense and two counts of felonious indecent liberties with a child, according to sheriff’s Lt. There will be a car wash fundraiser to help Scotland sophomore Kytel Collins-Jackson take part in the ‘People to People’ Ambassador Program.
