Last week, the state Highway Patrol and Laurinburg Police Department netted more than 240 charges on Scotland County roads in efforts spurred by the Governor’s Highway Safety Program No Need to Speed campaign. The campaign began on March 25 and focused on reducing speed-related collisions.
