An argument Tuesday night among workers resulted in a shooting that left one dead, according to Scotland County authorities. High-speed chase ends in Pembroke
A high-speed car chase that began in Laurinburg and exceeded speeds of 100-mph ended with a crash in Pembroke. Steven Jacobs, 37, of 184 Seals Drive, Lumberton, is charged with misdemeanor larceny and is being held under a $1,500 bond, according to Lt. Cliff Sessoms of the Laurinburg Police Department.
