Sweet Mocha’s owner had one use for her — breeding pups. When they got a new dog to do the breeding, they surrendered her to the shelter. To Mocha, the shelter is a welcome relief from her past 3 years, where she is now protected from the elements and never has to worry about raising anymore puppies. A Laurinburg police officer resigned last week after allegations of inappropriate conduct, according to authorities. Sanford Caulder was suspended on March 1 after being accused of inappropriate behavior, said interim Police Chief Kimothy Monroe. Caulder resigned on March 4.
