Carver student wins scholarship
Walter L. Brown, Jr of Carver Middle School will attend the Roy Williams –Carolina Basketball Camp on a scholarship from Pee Dee Electric. He is the son of Walter and Alisha Brown of Hamlet. Car wash to help student
There will be a car wash fundraiser to help Scotland sophomore Kytel Collins-Jackson take part in the ‘People to People’ Ambassador Program. The car wash is Saturday at the the One-Hour Cleaners off Main Street in Laurinburg from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will also be a raffle ticket drawing on April 26.
